Nexus Frizzbee Inaudible Hard Drive Cooler
We're sorry. The Nexus Frizzbee is no longer available. This product was originally designed to quietly cool hard drives and other devices. To cool hard drives we recommend the Nexus Disktwin, which passively dampens and cools your hard drive.
For even more effective cooling and silencing, we recommend the Smart Drive Neo. The Smart Drive Neo has been tested and shown to reduce heat by about 2 degrees from the hard drives in full operation.
Another option for additional cooling around your hard drive is the Antec Spot Cool, which can be set to silent operation and placed anywhere inside your case for additional cooling.
The Nexus Frizzbee Silent Hard Drive Cooler is the ultimate solution to bring the temperatures of your hard disk down, without making your system more noisy.
Modern hard disks are running faster and faster and are producing more heat. Some extra cooling may become necessary, but off course you do not want to add any noisy components to your system. This is why Nexus introduces the new super quiet Frizzbee.
The Frizzbee is a noiseless (inaudible!) single fan HDD cooler which provides excellent airflow and cooling for your hard disk. Lower the temperatures of your HDD to guarantee a longer lifetime and a flawless operation.
The Nexus Frizzbee hard drive cooler is so quiet that it's not possible to present a dB(A) rating for the device.... It's simply inaudible!*
* Notice: Nexustek has tested the noise level of their frizzbees in an ISO-certified chamber for noise tests. It is important to know that the background noise in such a chamber is a little over 15 dB(A). These are the best possible conditions for these tests and hence you should always be aware when a manufacturer is claiming dB(A) values that are lower then 15 dB(A). How were they able to measure this? Nexustek provides the real figures, from the actual tests. Can it get any more reliable? Judge for your self.
The installation of the Frizzbee is so easy, it only takes 2 screws to attach it to your HDD, plug the cable to your power supply and it's done.
The Frizzbee, reduces the temperature of your HDD drive, it will make sure it's not getting overheated. If you can keep the temperature of your HDD down you will extend the lifetime of your HDD.
