Zalman FB123 Quiet Fan And Bracket
We're sorry. The Zalman FB123 is no longer available. This product was originally designed to quietly cool Slot 1 and SECC2 CPUs. It was later used to provide extra cooling around key components. Another product which does this same thing is the Antec Spot Cool 3-Speed Motherboard Fan. The Antec Spot Cool can be pointed towards any hot component for additional silent cooling.
The Zalman FB123 fan bracket is designed to mount over your CPU cooler and other components (such as video cards) to provide extra cooling to those components.
Previous Zalman bracket design only allowed the use of 80mm fans. But with FB123, you can attach many types of fans (80, 92, & 120mm), as well as use up to 3 fans attached at the same time. The quiet fan included with the bracket is a 92mm quiet fan, so it provides excellent cooling performance, while satisfying most stringent of users committed to noiselessness.

The Zalman Fan and Bracket (FB123) can be used to cool Slot 1 and SECC2 CPUs. You can remove the noisy fan from your existing CPU cooler and mount this overhead fan. You must leave the existing heatsink on the CPU...you ONLY remove the fan. Get the fan as close to the CPU heatsink as possible. Be sure and monitor the temperature of the CPU. Do at your own risk...we are not responsible for over heating. Only 20 dB!
