ZM-NB32J

The Zalman ZM-NB32J is Zalman's older version of their fanless Northbridge cooler. It is slightly lighter and shorter version than the newer version and has some compatibility issues with some of the newer motherboards (see below). As such, it is available you at a lower price than the NB47J.

Since there are no moving parts with this Zalman Northbridge cooler, it does not generate any noise or vibration; perfect for your quiet computer.

ZM-NB32J Features

1. ZM-NB32J does not require a fan, thus does not need to be powered, and does not generate noise or vibration.
2. The Northbridge chipset can be cooled to an optimal temperature without generation of noise.

Compatible Northbridge Chipsets

Please note: Zalman's ZM-NB32J is compatible with all Northbridge chipsets that do not have a built-in graphics core. However, the Northbridge chipsets with built-in graphics cores are compatible only if the Northbridge chipset is located between the CPU socket and AGP (or PCIe) slot.

Cautionary Notes

1. Do not install ZM-NB32J if it interferes with components on the motherboard.
2. Using push pins and thermal grease can lower the chipset's temperature better, so if there are holes around the chipset, use the thermal grease, push pins, bolts, and nuts to attach instead of using the thermal adhesive.
3. When using the thermal grease, do not apply to core exposed northbridge chipset. The heatsink attached with the thermal adhesive cannot be removed after. Please apply in a well-ventilated area.
4. Caution: In the event of skin contact with the thermal grease, promtply clean of with water. In the even of eye contact with thermal grease, contact a physician immediately.
