Quiet CPU Fans Intel : Nexus P4 Quiet CPU Fan <19 dB - PHT-3600
Quiet CPU Fans Intel - Nexus PHT-3600 P4 Quiet CPU Fan with SkiveTek technology
Introducing the quiet Nexus PHT-3600 P4 Quiet CPU Fan for Intel P4 CPUs, Suitable for Socket 478, up to P4 3.2 GHz and the new Celeron processors. The Nexus PHT-3600 SkiveTek ® technology heat sink is equipped with a low-speed (2400 RPM) quiet fan and has a decibel rating of 19 dB(A). The patented V-shaped fins on the Nexus PHT-3600 optimize airflow and prevent air obstruction. This results in a stable RPM level and an extremely quiet operation.
Skivetek ® is an advanced concept that permits the production of heatsinks with precise and super fine detail previously considered impossible. It represents the process of shaping materials to product lightweight, high fin density thermal solutions. The base plate in this heatsink (the PHT-3600) are made of one piece of 99.5% pure aluminum by cutting the material in thin layers, an bending the fins in place. No bonding, welding, soldering, or adhesive is involved; the joint between the fin and base is continuous aluminum.
The Nexus PHT-3600 is a quiet cooling solution for Socket 478, up to P4 3.2 GHz and the new Celeron processors. The PHT-3600 cools at a very quiet 19 decibels (the manufacturer's official decibel rating). For Intel Pentium 4 processors below 3.06 Ghz: you can use this noise reduction cable (NRC-1000) along with the Nexus PHT-3600 SkiveTek CPU Cooler to reduce the speed of the quiet CPU cooler and bring the CPU fan's noise output to significantly below 19 decibels. This noise reduction cable brings the fan voltage down from 12 Volt to 10 Volt and consequentially brings the fan speed down. The standard fan speed of the PHT-3600 is 2400 RPM (+- 10%). when using the noise reduction cable the fan speed is lowered to 1930 RPM (+- 10%). This lower RPM level results in an even lower noise production!
