This is the revised version of the popular Scythe Ninja 3 quiet cooler. The revision offers wider compatibility, including compatibility with Intel Socket 2011.
The third edition of the Scythe Ninja CPU cooler includes a revised high-performance design when compared to the Scythe Ninja 2. The Scythe Ninja 3 CPU cooler is constructed with eight U-shaped heat pipes, and optimized with a fin structure named M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure). The airflow generated by the Scythe Slip Stream 120 PWM Adjustable fan can effectively cool the Ninja 3 heatsink. The computer user can choose the fully automatic PWM fan speed control, or alternatively, can customize the PWM band range for tuning purposes. These unique features make the Scythe Ninja 3 the perfect solution for silent users and overclockers. The F.M.S.B. 4 back-plate system provides for safe cooler mounting, guaranteed.

The developed M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow pass-through structure) is a completely new fin structure, where the airflow generated by the Scythe Slip Stream 120 PWM Adjustable fan. The Scythe Ninja 3 fanless performance has been improved up to 7% compare to the Scythe Ninja 2 by using the M.A.P.S. in combination with eight heatpipe high-performance design.
Introducign F.M.S.B. 4 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 4), for higher compatibility with new generation Motherboards. This universally compatible Back_plate is capable of mounting large coolers very rigidly onto your motherboard.
The Scythe Ninja 3 is equipped with the Scythe original Slip Stream PWM 120mm PWM Adjustable fan, which allows the user to choose the fully automatic PWM feature fan speed control or customize the PWM band range to fulfill demands from silent to high performance users.
**PCI Bracket Installation: Please remove the knob attached to the fan controller before installing into the PCI bracket. After the installation, please attach back the knob.
