Quiet CPU Fans - Intel - Scythe Mine B CPU Cooler with Removable Fan

This Mine cooler by Scythe earns our respect as a versatile and quiet cooler. While the stock configuration it isn't as quiet as a quiet Zalman CPU cooler or Nexus CPU cooler, this massive cooler is a good silence value.

The Scythe Mine (Rev. B) works with all standard current CPUs (including Core 2 and AM2). It comes with a quiet and removable fan mounted in the middle of the CPU cooler. You can leave the stock fan, or you can replace it with any 25mm deep (60-140mm wide) fan. The stock fan is reasonably quiet at 22-26 dB (measurement varies with source).

For ultimate silence, we recommend pairing it with a Nexus 120 mm Real Silent Case Fan, which is still the winner for a quiet case fan in terms of combination of airflow and true silence.
