This unique product from Thermalright allows you to expand your Thermalright CPU cooler's cooling capabilities by adding cooling to the back side (the back of your motherboard) of your CPU. The IFX-10 adds cooling to your CPU by connecting to the backside of your motherboard as illustrated below:
 

 

 

Thermalright IFX-10 CPU Cooler

IFX-10, the backplate/motherboard backside CPU cooler utilizes two heatpipes and proprietary through holes from the High Riser series to additionally cools the CPU from the back of the motherboard. You can install IFX-10 with any Thermalright heatsinks that is compatible with your motherboard and for older motherboards of socket 775, AM2, 939 too. With IFX-10′s additional cooling capacity, your motherboard′s life expectancy is not only increased but stability is established as well. IFX-10 also gives you an option of installing an 80mm fan. We recommend the Nexus 80mm Real Silent Case Fan. This fan has a true decible rating of 17.6 dBA with 20.2 CFM airflow. It is perfect for keeping your system quiet and cool.
