Why do we recommend AcoustiFeet? When giving advice regarding quieting your computer, we always recommend working first on the big sources of noise in your computer. The biggest sources are the power supply, the cpu fan, the case fan (if applicable), the hard drive, and in some cases the video card fan. It is always more effective to first eliminate the sources of noise in your computer, rather than first trying to dampen the noise with noise dampening materials.
